About Prayer
Why do we need to pray?
Prayer is speaking to God with all the reverence, respect, and sincerity He deserves.

A Personal Relationship: God created us in His image with thoughts, emotions, and the unique capacity to enjoy a loving, emotional bond with Him.

Approaching the King: God is the sovereign Creator of the universe, yet He is intimately involved with each individual. He invites us to come boldly to His throne of grace to find mercy and help when we need it (Hebrews 4:16).

If you don't know where to begin, you are not alone.

The Lord's Prayer: Jesus gave His disciples a clear template and pattern for prayer to help us speak to God with reverence, sincerity, and thankfulness (Matthew 6: 9-13).

Simply Begin: God made you, delights in you, and listens to you. You can come to Him honestly with your thoughts, knowing His grace and mercy are waiting for you.
What if I don't know how to pray or what to say?
